KBS Sport Ponies are passionate about producing quality ponies slowly and correctly.

We take a huge amount of pride in sourcing genuine, classy ponies. This is not a dealers yard, we never have more than two ponies in work. They will not be pushed or rushed beyond their capabilities and will have all the care and attention to lay the foundations they need to excel.

While they are with us they will be treated like one of the family, (this includes being subjected to dogs, pigs, tractors and an over enthusiastic 7 year old boy and young baby. (Their bomb proofing will be tested!)

We genuinely adore the ponies and will only sell them to the right homes. If we feel you are not a good match, we will always be honest. We want you to find your dream pony.

About Katie ...

I have always enjoyed working with horses and, because of my size, have often been asked to ride ponies. I found I particularly enjoyed starting and training them. I noticed that many ponies weren’t given the time and basic flatwork they needed which caused problems as they progressed. This is something I am really passionate about. We don’t cut corners with them!

Like most horsey people when I’m not working with horses, I’m riding them! I enjoy showjumping and currently compete up to Foxhunter but also enjoy dressage and eventing. This enables me to produce well-rounded ponies that can go on to do any job.

We are based on a private yard in Northumberland and are very fortunate that we have good facilities, making training easier. This also ensures potential purchasers can try ponies properly and we can be sure of a good match.
